In some US states, people lay down their roots and rarely move away. They’ll stick around in their hometowns or states for their whole lives without ever dreaming of moving away. But why? Let’s take a look at 18 states that some of the most loyal residents around and why.

Montana

The Big Sky Country is a dream for anyone who loves the outdoors, thanks to all those majestic mountains and huge fields.
